The band played many different types of music. First dances were on CD (Edwin McCain/Louis Armstrong)
Audience Response:
The crowd loved the band. They provided music for all ages. The dance floor was filled all four hours!
Manners:
Wonderful manners. Encouraged the crowd to participate. Appropriate and courteous when announcing entrance/departure of bride and groom, bouquet toss, and cake cutting. Welcomed guests that wanted to make toasts on stage. Cooperative with taking special song requests.
Presentation:
Very professional with set up and presentation on stageI
Promptness:
Very prompt.. Some of our guests arrived early and band was set ready to go.

Additional Comments:
Words can’t express how pleased we were with Mike and the Mixers .. They helped to make our wedding reception a huge success.. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away! They were definitely "crowd pleasers" and played a wonderful variety of music that suited everyone. They were cooperative with all of our special requests. Mike was eager and willing during our meeting to make sure he had all details just perfect!

We had to move the tables to increase the size of the dance floor---dance floor was full for every song---ages 5 to 75!

Professional. Friendly, polite and considerate—enjoyed meeting and talking to band
Presentation:
I was worried that a four- member band wouldn’t have enough sound and depth. Therefore I requested a sax as a fifth member. It wasn’t necessary. Even with four the band was very dynamic and versatile

The band responded quickly to requests that ranged from rap, rock, beach, country, Christmas music, Clemson fight song, etc.. with no transition problems. Mike is very personable and professional. I am in receipt of your evaluation for in regards to the Savannah Air Center Christmas party of December 20th, 2003. I apologize for not getting back with you sooner. Once you get moving into the new year it’s hard to stop and reflect back.

Our Christmas party was a great success. Of everyone we hired to participate, my biggest concern was the band and if they would appeal to a fairly diverse crowd. You gentlemen did an exceptional job. I felt your performance was the best surprise of the entire evening.

From our original contact, you presented yourself very professionally and made the up front arrangements smooth and easy. You were prompt to arrive, professionally attired and handled the crowd with ease. I personally very much enjoyed the part of your performance that I heard and everyone I talked with expressed the same delight.

Dear Mike (and the Mixers),

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to write you the day AFTER our November 7 wedding and tell you how perfect everything was for us!! But instead we headed off for a 3 week honeymoon and returned to NYC on December 1…..full bore into holiday season! So the past few weeks have also gotten away from us as we have re-acclimated to “normal” life and “married” life.

If I may rewind to November 6-8, we just want to say THANK YOU!!! I don’t know how things could have been better than planned but they were far and away better than we had imagined. I know I am very organized (if I do say so myself) but your service helped make everything come together and made it so easy for us just to enjoy the moment. Everything – the pre-wedding BBQ, the flowers, the ceremony, the music, the location, the weather….and of course those amazing cakes—was wonderful. We’re starting to go through photos now and it is great fun, making the moment come alive in my mind. It sort of makes me want to get married all over again…though I’m sure Matt would think one time is enough!!!

I just want you to know that all of our guests have been very complimentary of everything, which is a true reflection of a great event (I think my Dad has talked about our wedding every time I have talked to him since November 7). It really was an absolute pleasure working with you. And while we will stay in NC for awhile yet, I know where to turn for any future Charleston-area gatherings!

This short note cannot truly express our gratitude to you so I won’t babble on and on. We just want to say thank you for creating a very special day for us. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a healthy and peaceful 2010.
